As the community-based care organization in Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter Counties, it is important for Kids Central to interact and communicate with its community members and stakeholders. Social media provides a great opportunity to reach many people in a timely, efficient manner while providing a way for community members to interact with Kids Central, share information or seek answers. Kids Central is seeking 3-4 volunteers with education experience to assist in the Education Department between 4-8 hours per week . This role will assist the Education Liaison with communications between the case managers and the education liaison regarding grades, attendance, graduation and other items. This opportunity is located at the corporate headquarters in Wildwood. Volunteers must be 18 years of age, pass Level 2 background screen and drug test. Volunteer opportunities are Monday – Friday, 8:00-5:00

Kids Central and the children and families we serve are all experiencing the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. We hope everyone weathered Hurricane Irma safely and with minimal damage. Kids Central’s Corporate Office will be closed Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
