Dyer Michell

Dyer Michell is a retired healthcare professional, having served as an executive in the hospital industry for 40 years, the last 28 as the CEO of Munroe Regional Health System in Ocala, Fl., a major not-for-profit hospital and healthcare provider serving the North Central Florida area.    A graduate of the University of Florida where he received his BSBA and MBA,  Mr. Michell is married, and has four children and nine grand children. He and his wife Pam, who continues as an active healthcare executive in the area, are members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Dyer has always been an active participant in national, state and local associations and organizations.  That interest continues today, and in addition to his membership on the Kids Central Board of Directors for the past five years, where he currently serves as Treasurer, Dyer also serves on a number of other non-profit boards including; Board Chair – Access to Healthcare, Inc., Immediate Past Board Chair – Heart Of Florida Health Center, Inc., Board Member – Ocala Community Care, Inc., Board Member – Healthy Ocala, Inc., and Board Member – Public Policy Institute of Marion County, Inc.
