Nonprofit Puts Spotlight on Foster Moms for Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day Extra Special for Clermont Foster Mom
“My husband and I have been doing foster parenting for 12 months now. We have had 15 children come through our home. It has been such an awesome experience to give a loving nurishing enviornment to children who need it. Everyone we have dealt with from Licensing to relicensing, Case Managers, CPI’s, placement, court hearing, etc. have all been a pleasant experience. Every time I have had a need I am always contacted back within a few hours even though it states 24 hours. Very seldom does a 24-hour period go by. Any medicaid issues we have encountered have all been dealt with right away. We even had a supervisor come out at 11pm to meet us at Walgreens to make sure this child had his medicine. The daycare we have chosen always has openings for foster children and work very well with us. We also have a doctor that takes our children with or without Medicaid due to Medicaid problems. People make comments to us about how amazing we are. I always refer back to the fact that foster parenting is something we all do. If you have the space in your home and a loving heart to children out there that need a home, foster parenting is for you! Join our team as we bring our communities together.” -Marsha Foster
“I want to thank you for all your hard work in getting us licensed! I can’t say thank you enough. Randy and I absolutely love having the foster children in our home. They have brought us so much joy. We really feel like we are helping these children in a critical time in their lives. Sometimes I find it hard to grasp in my mind what this child is going through and still going on in life with day-to-day events…It has brought lots of joy and laughter and some difficult times, but the joy and laughter far outweighs the other.”
