Hernando Healthy Start Provider

The Central Healthy Start Coalition covering Citrus, Hernando, Lake and Sumter counties is pleased to announce Kids Central, Inc. as the new service provider of Healthy Start services for Hernando County, Florida effective October 1, 2016. Kids Central, Inc. currently provides Healthy Start services in Alachua and Lake Counties making them experienced and knowledgeable of the Healthy Start program.

Kids Central Corporate office has moved. We relocated from Ocala to Wildwood. The new address is: 901 Industrial Dr. Suite 200, Wildwood, FL 34785, located right off of SR 44 next to the Russell Stover store. Moving to Wildwood allows us to be more centrally located for all five counties we serve: Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion, and Sumter.














  • The Resource Center’s food pantry is low. We are currently in need of pasta, tuna, soups, canned vegetables, shelf stable milk and other nutritious non-perishables.
  • The Resource Center is in need of cleaning and hygiene products.
