Kids Central’s corporate facility has created the Resource Center for clients, who can receive assistance after a request is made by a staff member from Kids Central or one of its contracted case management agencies. The center is filled with new and gently-used donated items including housewares, furniture, linens, clothing and toys, as well as a food pantry. All of the items are passed on to clients at no charge. The Resource Center is not open to the public; all requests must be made by staff.
Below are some examples of items that can help us support at-risk youth and families.
- Food pantry needs (dry/canned foods, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce and pasta, kid-friendly cereals, Hamburger/Tuna Helper, canned tuna)
- Small appliances (microwaves, toaster ovens, blenders, coffee pots)
- Toiletries (deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, feminine products, toilet paper)
- Cleaning products (laundry/dish detergent, window/disinfecting cleaners, paper towels, sponges)
- Diapers and baby wipes
- Household furniture
