A Celebration of Forever Families

On December 12, 2025, the spirit of the season filled the Ocala Courthouse as 18 children found their forever homes during our annual Home for the Holidays adoption event. These children were lovingly welcomed into 13 families and will now celebrate the holidays surrounded by the warmth, security, and joy of their new forever families.

The courtroom was filled to capacity with family members, friends, and supporters, all gathered to witness and celebrate this life-changing moment. Judge Youman once again presided over the ceremony, sharing a special holiday story that captivated the children and added an extra touch of magic to the day.

Cheers and applause erupted when Santa arrived, presenting each family with their official certificate of adoption and a keepsake ornament personalized with their family name, a treasured reminder of a day they will never forget. The celebration continued in the jury assembly room with photos with Santa, gifts, and delicious cookies shared among smiling faces and happy hearts.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Kids Central adoption team for making this beautiful event possible, as well as to Kids Central leadership and team members, judicial staff, and our incredible community partners. Because of your dedication and generosity, this holiday season is brighter, and filled with forever, for 18 very special children and their families.
