Anthony Piarulli

Hernando County

Anthony Piarulli is a Captain with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office. Currently, he is assigned to the Major Crimes Unit which encompasses Crimes Against Persons and Economic Crimes. He has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 2004 and has worked in many areas of the agency to include patrol, investigations, and special operations which included the School Resource Officer Unit.

Prior to starting his career at the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, he attended Florida Metropolitan University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in accounting. Anthony then went to work for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office as a Child Protective Investigator (CPI) .During his time as a CPI, he had many interactions with KCI and other child support groups and thoroughly enjoyed making a difference in the lives of families.

Anthony resides in Weeki Wachee, Florida and is married with three school age children. In his spare time he enjoys relaxing with family and friends, cooking and his passion, horse racing.

Anthony looks forward to making a difference in the lives of families in need and helping carry out the vision of KCI as his values coincide with those of the KCI mission.
